INVESTMENT CRITERIA

Like most venture funding companies, Cahn Medical Technologies is very selective about the enterprises in which it makes investments. In the aggregate, however, our investment criteria are unique to CMT.

We are likely to invest in companies that have:

• Differentiable, medically-valuable, patented technology
• Commercial endorsement represented by corporate-funded research and/or development
• A strong management core
• Medium-sized markets
• Received previous backing from angel or small- to medium-sized venture capital firms

On the other hand, we are unlikely to invest in companies that:

• Target product sales of a billion dollars or higher
• Target cancer
• Are involved in computational drug design, genomics or proteomics
